Connect Slack
The Slack integration brings partnership activity into the channels your team already lives in. Once connected, Lasso posts real-time updates about referrals, agreements, and payouts to the channels you choose, and your team can submit referrals straight from Slack, without opening the Lasso app.
How it works
The integration works in both directions. Lasso posts updates into Slack as things happen across your partner program: new referrals, agreement signatures, payout approvals, partner applications, and referral status changes. And from Slack, your team can submit a referral using a shortcut or button; it lands in Lasso just like one submitted through the app or the partner portal.
Before you start
- Account admin in Lasso, or permission to manage integrations.
- Permission to add an app to your Slack workspace. If your workspace requires admin approval for new apps, loop in your Slack admin.
- Each Lasso account connects to one Slack workspace.
Slack is available on every Lasso account, with nothing to enable first.
What you can configure
Once connected, you can tailor how Slack fits your team:
- Notification routing: which channel each type of update posts to. Send everything to one channel, or route different events to different channels.
- Referral submission from Slack: letting your team and partners submit referrals without leaving Slack.
