Connect Shopify
If partners refer merchants who install your Shopify app, connecting Shopify to Lasso ties each referral to what that merchant is actually worth. Once connected, Lasso links a closed-won referral to the matching Shopify store, brings in the revenue behind it, and calculates the partner’s commission from it, with no manual matching of deals to merchants.
How it works
You connect your Shopify Partner account to Lasso, then add it as a revenue source and choose which transaction types count toward partner revenue, such as subscription charges, usage charges, or both.
From there, Lasso links referrals to Shopify stores automatically: when a referral closes won, Lasso looks up the matching store using an identifier you’ve configured, such as the store’s domain, and links them. You can also link a store to a referral by hand at any time.
Once linked, revenue syncs on a regular schedule and feeds directly into the partner’s commission. Lasso keeps commissions current as new revenue comes in from the merchant.
Most accounts use Lasso’s automatic Shopify sync. For accounts that need revenue to reflect exactly what Shopify has paid out, Lasso also supports loading revenue from Shopify’s Partner Earnings payout file. Your account manager can help you decide which fits your program.
