Partner tiers
tiers let you turn your partner program into a progression, for example Bronze to Silver to Gold. As partners deliver more, they move up and unlock more generous rewards; if their activity falls off, they can move back down. It’s a structured way to recognize your best partners and to give everyone else something to work toward.
Each tier carries its own rewards, so a partner’s earning terms follow their tier automatically. You manage rewards at the tier level rather than partner by partner, and partners can progress through tiers based on their performance over time.
How tiers work
Lasso gives you control over the shape of the program without micromanagement:
- Progression on performance. Partners advance or step back based on activity and value thresholds you define, and Lasso keeps standings current as partners’ numbers change.
- Automatic or manual movement. Let partners move on their own as they hit the bar, or keep movement in your hands, set independently for moving up and moving down.
- Exclusive tiers. Reserve certain tiers for partners you place by hand, for strategic or invitation-only relationships.
- Fair transitions. When a partner’s tier changes, you control what happens to deals already in flight, and anything a partner has already earned is always protected.
Partners and your team are kept informed as standings change, so a move up or down is never a surprise.
Where tiers fit
Tiers build on reward plans: each tier is tied to a set of rewards, and a partner’s plan follows their tier as they move. See Set up commissions for how rewards work, and Assign reward plans for how plans get assigned when you want to pin a partner to specific terms.
Tiers are an optional feature. If you don’t see tier settings in your account, contact your account manager to have them enabled.
